I was off on an adventure!

Car was rented, backpack was packed, and the destination was set. I had a goal, had a playlist, and I was on my way.

One of the fun parts of Ireland is the history – the sheer amount of ancient ruins and prehistoric artifacts strewn throughout the country. One of the weird parts of Ireland, though, is that they’re basically all on private land. Thankfully, the owner of the Gaulstown Dolmen allows people to visit.

Which, typing it out, still feels weird to say…

But hey. Private ownership of everything! Capitalist dream! Yay!

… Extra special no comment.

I will say, aside from the weird access issues, it really was gorgeous. Such a neat little stop on the adventure!
