Let me say this as loudly, as clearly, and as emphatically as I can.
Andrea makes amazing food.
It can’t be overstated, and it can’t be stated too frequently. In this specific instance, we’re talking bagels. Her first foray, in fact, if memory serves… and a foray that was incredibly successful and immensely appreciated.
I mean, just look at that spread!
Christmas 2025 saw us on an Adventure – Andrea’s friend was working at a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Slovenia, Hiša Franko, and we had the opportunity to join her for a dinner and some adventuring. We jumped at the chance, hopping a flight into Northern Italy before the drive out into Slovenia itself… with a few exciting adventures along the way.

I brought my drone to Slovenia!
And Slovenia is absolutely beautiful! Especially the Soča River Valley!
So… combine the two, and you get some pretty solid views of Slovenia. At least in the opinion of this amateur photographer.

Well, we’re in Slovenia… a trip to the capital should clearly be in the books, right?
Right. Of course right – adventure awaits!
Frankly, not too much to type out here. The three of us went on a days adventure into Llubjana, adoring the drive and appreciating the amazing views we had on the way in. Then kicking around the city, visiting the Christmas markets and wandering around appreciating the architecture and enjoying the people watching. Grabbing snacks as we were hungry, and dinner when the snacks no longer covered it. Coffee as needed, of course.
Yeah. A very lovely day of adventure.
