I say “I think” because, let’s be real here – If you’re going to see a mentalist / illusionist, then who can really say what I actually saw?

Well.

I do have photos, so I’m pretty confident that I saw a stage, a dude on said stage, and the absolutely beautiful theater that the whole event was staged in. I saw showmanship, preparation, and misdirection. Lots of preparation. Probably quite a bit of cold reading too?

I don’t think I saw any audience plants, but I do expect that I saw some creative use of AI and big data – possibly the use of Facebook and other social media accounts?

I definitely saw myself writing this blog rather obtusely, in any case, in an attempt to avoid spoiling the show for anyone who happens to run across it ahead of seeing a similar show.

All I’ll say concretely is that this was a very lovely date night for Andrea and myself; The show was interesting, exciting, and very well done. I mean, seriously – incredible preparation and showmanship, I 100% recommend!
