I absolutely adore the views from our Dublin apartment.
Seriously – they’re amazing. We’re overlooking the Liberties, facing mostly North with a little bit of East thrown in for good measure. But, thanks to Ireland’s location on the globe, we still get some incredible sunsets… having the Guinness Brewery right in line with the sunset doesn’t hurt their beauty, either.
It’s not every evening that we get a photo-worthy sunset, of course. It’s not even most evenings. But those evenings that we do? Well. We both make a point to stop and enjoy them.

And Ireland’s high Latitude also helps for something else: Noctilucent Clouds.
They aren’t something I’d heard about before moving to Dublin, but now that I’ve seen them I’m constantly on the lookout – I’m still waiting for my chance to see the Aurora, but I’ll happily console myself with having yet another opportunity to see such a beautiful sight…
