Thanksgiving! Last year, Thanksgiving was a bit too busy for me to fly back to the United States… classes, and general insanity, conspired to keep me in Dublin. Which, frankly, was a perfectly lovely time with friends and classmates. 2025, however, had none of those challenges… and thus, saw Andrea and I winging our way to New England for a well-deserved holiday…

One of the big things Andrea had asked that we make sure to do while visiting New England was to make our way slightly out of bounds, and out to New York City. Specifically with the goal of seeing a few shows on Broadway that she’d been hearing good things about. Now, I won’t say no to a bit of adventure, and the chance to catch up with family friends, and see the sights of NYC, wasn’t something I’d be at all sad to add into the adventure itinerary.

First major stop? Cafe Un Deux Trois!

Sadly, they’ve closed down now after 47 years… so I’m extra thankful for the memories!
