Valentine’s Day is a complicated holiday, to be sure. Does one embrace the capitalism, and buy chocolates? Does one go out for an overpriced dinner that includes some mediocre sparkling wine, in hopes of seeing other people have some big blow-out fight?

No!

One, if ones are as awesome as Andrea and I are, they stay in! They make glorious pasta dishes (one meat, one vegan), and have incredible wine.

Then, the resident engineer (with assistance from the resident creative) make a sturdy pillow fort, set up a projector and some lights, and watch silly movies. Because we’re awesome.
